    The 1220Cse and 1220Cxi are the same printer, with different toy
    Windows software.&lt;p&gt;

    This printer differs from the 12 0 0C in that this is a PCL 3
    (deskjet flavoured language) printer, while the 1200C is a PCL 5c
    (laserjet flavoured language) printer.&lt;p&gt;

    A wide assortment of deskjet-ish drivers should work.&lt;p&gt;

    The best output one gets with HP's HPIJS 1.3 or newer. If you
    cannot update to HPIJS 1.3 for some reason, you can also use HPIJS
    1.2.2 with the patches from Matthias Bunte and Richard
    Spencer-Smith (&quot;hpijs-rss&quot;). The Gimp-Print driver also
    works (Model setting: &quot;pcl-900&quot;), but only up to 600
    dpi.&lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
