    This printer is reported to work with the drivers for the Lexmark
    Z42, so it is probably a rebadged Lexmark Z42.&lt;p&gt;

    The Compaq cartridges have a little plastic tab to make them
    incompatible with Lexmark cartridges.  Otherwise they are the
    same.  I think you can break off the tab and use the other brand?&lt;p&gt;
