For basic printing functionality use the <a
href="http://hplipopensource.com/">HPIJS
driver </a>. For advanced functionality such
as printer status and maintenance features, use the
<a href="http://hplipopensource.com/">
HPLIP driver</a> (which includes HPIJS). <p>
600 dpi in colour is not supported by the hardware.<p>

Far as I can tell everything's working fine <P>
<a href="mailto:

quality is excellent at 600x600. The comments in the ghostscript
docs about gamma correction apply here. Photo images seem kinda
muddy, especially at 600x600. If you figure out a way to fix this
cleanly using RH driver scripts please let me know.<p>
The docs mention a special photo cartridge but I havn't
tried that yet<p>
Don't forget - this printer (and pretty much any other this
cheap) can't do better than 600x300 in color.<p>
Consumables/Refills: HP C6614A (black) and HP 51649G (color), instead of the black
cartridge a photo cartridge can be used.<p>
