Style Panel\n
The color and pixmap entries below can be set
with the color- and image selectors.
The radio buttons can be unset with a double click.
Then you get the initial behavior.
Use the Apply button to apply, or hit return in an
entry to send a single value.
\nWhen you begin, you see 'Style *' in the upper menu bar.
This means that any values you set here will apply to all
windows. If this is all you want to do, then you don't need
to make other styles.
However, you typically want at least a few options changed for
different windows. For instance, the Pager is usually made 'Sticky',
that is, it appears on every virtual desktop. To change this value,
click 'Select Style'. Type 'FvwmPager' and click 'Load' (or double
click on FvwmPager if it already exists). Notice that the
menu bar in the Style Panel reflects the changes. Then set
the 'Sticky' radio button to yes and click Apply. Don't forget
to use 'Select Style' to switch back to style '*'. If you forget and
set style options from the color tool, the colors will apply only to
FvwmPager ! Any options that you leave unset for FvwmPager will be
taken from the '*' Style. So you can set only one value if you like.
\nNotice that 'Use Decor' is initally set to 'default'. To see what
the default &&DecorPanel:Decor&& looks like, open the Decor Panel.
You can create a new Decor and the set one or more Styles to use that
Decor by changing the 'Use Decor' entry. However, once you set 'Use Decor'
the affected application windows will use only the new Decor values
and none of the default Decor values. (In contrast, any unset Style
value will be set from the '*' Style) This is confusing, but it
actually seems useful. Often you only want to change one Style value.
(eg, 'Sticky', 'StaysOnTop').
