<h1> Firewall Builder Release Notes </h1>
<h3> Version 0.9.9 </h3>
<br>
<h3>This is bugfix release</h3>
<br>
<b>GUI v0.9.9 requires API library libfwbuilder version 0.10.3</b>
<br>
<h3>Bugs fixed in this release:</h3>
<ul>
<li> #491279: File created and saved in GUI v0.9.8 could not be
loaded. This happened only if user created new Host object.
<p>
This bug made data files saved in GUI v0.9.8 invalid. The
problem was introduced in API library v.0.10.2, but to fix it
properly we had to release both new API and GUI
packages. Basically, object "Host" created in GUI v0.9.8 does
not comply with XML data format and therefore the whole file
can not be loaded again.
<p>
You need to upgrade to API v0.10.3 and GUI v0.9.9. Please make
sure you do not destroy .bak file created when program
automatically upgraded your data file from the previous
version, that file is your backup. Once you installed
libfwbuilder v0.10.3 and fwbuilder 0.9.9, rename .bak file to
.xml and load it in the GUI again, it will convert
automatically. If you already converted your data file to the
format used in 0.9.8, do not add host objects. Install new
versions of API and GUI and load this file, it should work
from there on.</li>
</ul>
