The environment always plays a role in the way a computer application
behaves, particularly on Linux/Unix systems.
<p/>
GAMGI works fully well with <a href="http://www.enlightenment.org/">
Enlightenment</a> (tested on Yellow Dog Linux 2.2 for Mac and Suse 10.0
Linux for PC) and <a href="http://blackboxwm.sourceforge.net/">
Blackbox</a> (tested on Mac OS X with <a href="http://fink.sourceforge.net/">
Fink</a>).
<p/>
<a href="http://www.windowmaker.org/">Window Maker</a> (tested on
Yellow Dog Linux 2.2 for Mac and Suse 10.0 Linux for PC) and
<a href="http://www.uwo.ca/its/doc/hdi/x11/x4-twm.html">Twm</a>
(tested on Yellow Dog Linux 2.2 for Mac and Suse 10.0 Linux for PC)
keep showing the windows decorations, in fullscreen mode.
<p/>
<a href="http://www.kde.org/">KDE</a> (tested on Yellow Dog Linux 2.2
for Mac) and <a href="http://www.gnome.org/">GNOME</a> (tested on Yellow
Dog Linux 2.2 for Mac) also keep showing the windows decorations, in
fullscreen mode. Moreover, KDE does not define the <b>WINDOWID</b>
environment variable, so the <b>Console</b> button (in the window
tools section) cannot work and GAMGI hides it.
