This manual page documents
.BR gem ,
a extension to the pd computer music system.

This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution
(but may be used by others), because the original program does not
have a manual page. Instead it has a builtin documentation system
and online html documentation via dhelp.
.PP
.B gem
extents the pd computer music language with graphics capabilies for
OpenGL (R) rendering. It is merely a wrapper scripts which loads the
gem shared library into pd and may be used the same way as pd is used.
