        - Changes doxygen directives using a leading '\' (eg: \@brief -> \\brief)
        
        - Capitalizes the first letter of the word after after sections

        - Adds missing \\param roles (eg: \\param name -> \\param[in] name)

        - Removes extra leading spaces in \\code...\\endcode sections (while
          keeping code indentation).

        - Aggressively removes all extra leading spaces (only with option --fix-spaces)

    --fix-spaces
        Only with option --fix-comments. Aggressively removes all extraneous
        leading spaces in the doxygen comments. For instance, the following
