<dt><code>(echo ...)</code><dd>Write the given data to the special file <code>-</code>. Strings are written
literally; lisp expressions are evaluated and their values written.
If received from an external program, <code>echo</code> sends to the program's
input. Otherwise writes to geomview's own standard output
(typically the terminal).
