How to install it?

just go inside the directory you decompressed gkdial and
type:
$ make
then, as ROOT:
# make install
at the toplevel directory of the project, it will generate
the "gkdial" executable in the src/ subdir.

Red Hat-like systems notes
**************************
This program was designed to be used in Debian systems,
of course it is not meant to be used in these systems only.
It uses the directories /etc/ppp/peers and /etc/chatscripts
wich doesn't seem to be used (at least the second) in
red hat-like systems.
