GKrellMSS Theming
=================

This GkrellM Sound Scope plugin may be themed by setting values in
the gkrellmrc and by putting custom images in the "sound" subdirectory
of a theme. Images may be .png, .jpg, or .xpm.
See the Themes document at http://gkrellm.net for an explanation of
krell_expand modes.

GKrellMSS 2.0 requires at least GKrellM version 2.0.0.

Standard Theme Images
---------------------
sound/bg_panel.png
sound/krell.png - is not used

Custom Theme Images
-------------------
sound/button_sweep_dn.png
sound/button_sweep_up.png
sound/krell_vu.png
sound/krell_vu_peak.png
sound/krell_sensitivity.png
sound/spectrum_bar.png
sound/spectrum_bar_light.png

The spectrum_bar images should be 3 pixels wide and they will be rendered
to the chart height. The spectrum analyzer mode draws vertical bars of
either width 2 or 1 pixels and these are picked out of the 3 pixels in
the images. The leftmost 2 are used for the 2 pixel bars and the rightmost
1 is for the 1 pixel bar.

gkrellmrc Settings (values shown are the program defaults)
------------------

# The vertical offset into the panel of the sweep buttons:
set_integer sound_button_sweep_yoff 3

# Set some values for the standard krell even though it is not used. This is
# because a custom style will be initialized to standard krell values at the
# first setting of a custom style value. Note that the standard krell in
# turn has inherited its initial values from the global default meter style.
# So it is a good idea to specify all the default values, and they must be
# specified before any sound.custom_name lines. If no standard or custom
# StyleMeter sound.xxx settings are in the gkrellmrc, then values used will be
# program coded defaults.
StyleMeter sound.krell_yoff = 0
StyleMeter sound.krell_depth = 1
StyleMeter sound.krell_x_hot = -1
StyleMeter sound.krell_expand = none
StyleMeter sound.krell_left_margin = 0
StyleMeter sound.krell_right_margin = 0

# Set values for the vu krells that differ from the default values.
# Also, GKrellMSS code looks at the krell_left_margin and if it is zero, will
# force the krell left margin to be at the right edge of the sweep buttons.
StyleMeter sound.vu_left.krell_yoff = 3
StyleMeter sound.vu_left.krell_x_hot = 59
StyleMeter sound.vu_left.krell_expand = left

StyleMeter sound.vu_right.krell_yoff = 9
StyleMeter sound.vu_right.krell_x_hot = 59
StyleMeter sound.vu_right.krell_expand = left

# All default krell values are good for the sensitivity krell. But if
# any settings are needed, they would be like:
#StyleMeter sound.sensitivity.krell_yoff = 0

# The sensitivity krell is normally in an "up" position and is moved to a
# "down" or visible position when the mouse enters the GKrellMSS panel.
# These variables control the up and down y positions.
set_integer sound_krell_sensitivity_y_up -10
set_integer sound_krell_sensitivity_y_dn 0
