= Connection Commands
:toc:

== /connect

Connect to `network` by name.

If `network` does not correspond to the name of a server in the config,
it is treated as a hostname.

== /reconnect

(Re)connect to the currently-focused server.

== /quit

Gracefully disconnect the current network connection,
optionally sending the provided reason.

See also: disconnect, exit

== /disconnect

Immediately terminate the current network connection.

See also: quit, exit

== /umode

Apply a user-mode change.

== /cert

Show the TLS certificate for the current connection.

== /new-self-signed-cert

Generate a new self-signed client certificate for
network service identification using CertFP.

The generated certificate can be used via the per-server
`tls-client-cert` and `tls-client-key-password` (if applicable) keys
in your config file.

This command generates an RSA key pair by default.
This may change in the future.
