GNOME Media is deprecated, although some programs still relies on some
libraries it offers, and some people still use some of the tools.

GNOME media contains the following tools & library:

grecord                 - GNOME Sound Recorder
profiles                - Audio Profile library
gstreamer-properties    - GStreamer Properties Capplet
gst-mixer               - GNOME GStreamer-based audio mixer  (deprecated in favour of control-center PulseAudio volume control)
