<p>Nesen lietoto datņu izsekošana var atvieglot to dokumentu, pie kuriem nesen strādājāt, meklēšanu datņu pārvaldniekā un datņu dialoglodziņos lietotnēs. Iespējams, vēlaties paturēt datņu lietošanas vēsturi privātu, vai tikai sekot ļoti nesenai vēsturei.</p>

<p>Open the <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview and
start typing <gui>Privacy & Security</gui>.</p>

<p>Select <guiseq><gui>Settings</gui><gui>Privacy & Security</gui></guiseq> from the
results. This will open the <gui>Privacy & Security</gui> panel.</p>

<p>Click on <gui>File History & Trash</gui> to open the panel.</p>

<p>Switch the <gui>File History</gui> switch to off.</p>
<p>To re-enable this feature, switch the <gui>File History</gui> switch
to on.</p>

<p>Use the <gui>Clear History…</gui> button to purge the history
immediately.</p>
