<title>Alterando que idioma usa</title>
<p>Pode usar sua área de trabalho e seus aplicações em qualquer um dos muitos idiomas disponíveis, desde que tenha os pacotes de idioma adequados no seu computador.</p>

<p>Open the <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview and
start typing <gui>System</gui>.</p>

<p>Select <guiseq><gui>Settings</gui><gui>System</gui></guiseq> from the
results. This will open the <gui>System</gui> panel.</p>

<p>Select <gui>Region & Language</gui> to open the panel.</p>

<p>In the <gui>Your Account</gui> section, click <gui>Language</gui>.</p>

<p>Algumas traduções podem estar incompletas e certas aplicações podem não oferecer suporte algum a esse idioma. Quaisquer textos não traduzidos aparecerão no idioma em que o programa foi originalmente desenvolvido, normalmente em inglês americano.</p>
<p>Existem algumas pastas especiais na sua pasta pessoal, onde aplicações podem armazenar coisas como música, figuras e documentos. Essas pastas usam nomes padrões conforme seu idioma. Quando iniciar uma nova sessão, será questionado se deseja renomeá-las para os nomes padrões para seu idioma selecionado. Se planeja usa o novo idioma o tempo todo, deveria atualizar os nomes das pastas.</p>
