Gnumeric for Debian: FAQs
-------------------------

Q: The "help" function does not work. Is gnumeric broken?
A: Probably not.
If you get a warning similar to
(gnumeric:4283): Bonobo-WARNING **: Error: 'Unable to find the help files in either /usr/share/gnumeric/1.1.20-bonobo/share/gnome/help/gnumeric/ or /usr/share/gnome/help/. Please check your installation'
the GNOME help system could not find the gnumeric manual. Install the
"gnumeric-doc" package which contains the gnumeric manual.
If you get a warning similar to
(gnumeric:4680): Bonobo-WARNING **: Error: 'Failed to execute child process "gnome-help" (No such file or directory)'
you need to install the "yelp" package which contains the help viewer.

Q: Where is the <foo> plugin?
A: Plugins that require additional libraries or programs are packaged
separately (e.g. "gnumeric-python"). Do "apt-cache search gnumeric" to
   find them.
