Updating to a new upstream release
----------------------------------
Before importing the new upstream release, the glib component in
debian/watch should be updated to the version of GLib corresponding
to the doc-comments in gir/*.c.
If you're lucky, the upstream commit history of gir/ will mention which
specific version of GLib was used to update the doc-comments. If not,
take an educated guess.
If you have chosen the right version, then the upstream procedure for
updating gir/*.c:
meson _build
meson compile -C _build
./misc/update-glib-annotations.py ./glib
should not result in any changes to gir/*.c.
