This file contains small hints on using my small Program.
Installation:
Simply type './configure', and then 'make;make install'. There should be no Errors. You must
have the gtk-libs correctly installed.
Operation:
F-11: TX
F-12: RX
During operation you may hit the F10-Key. You will get a window where you can
enter all the information about the current QSO, and also write to the Log (not
yet ready). This Information will be used for the macros (see below)
Configuration:
The global configuration file is gpsk31.conf. You may overide this file with
an own ~/.gpsk31/gpsk31.conf file! From Version 0.2.4 there is only this one
configuration file available.
Fixtexts:
You may create up to 8 fixtexts in the gpsk31.conf file.
You can use macros in your fix texts:
~t --> Transmit ON
~r --> Receive
~~ --> sends '~'
~c --> sends the others Callsign
~n --> sends the others Name
~q --> sends the others QTH
~s --> sends the RST for the other Station
~mn -> sends your name
~mc -> sends your call
~mq -> sends your QTH
If the Phase Scope is RED, DCD is OFF, and AFC will not work. If the DCD is
ON (Phase Scope is YELLOW), AFC is working. You can adjust the DCD-Level with
the slider between the Phase Scope and the Spectrum Display.
You may want to change the AFC/NET options. Simple klick on the buttons you see, or
use the ALT-Key shortcuts.
You can change the frequencies directly using the 2 spin buttons
or +/- keys (arrow block). You can also
click to a station you see in the spectrum analizer to tune into it.
If you don't like the look of gpsk31, simply edit the /etc/gpsk31/gtkrc file and
adjust it to your needs.
The CW_ID option is not yet ready
