This directory contains:

* A C program to create a gretl database using XML data from the
  FRED system of the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis; in ./FRED.

* A similar C program to create a gretl database using XML data
  from the Federal Reserve Board; in ./FRB.

* Some scripts for creating gretl databases out of economic data 
  that are freely available from nber.org; in ./nber.

* Apparatus for installing a gretl-mode file for editing gretl
  scripts in emacs in ./emacs.
