<dd><p>This function computes the sum <em>c = a + b</em>. The three matrices must
have the same dimensions and be stored in a compressed format.

factor <var>x</var>. The result <em>m(i,j) \leftarrow x m(i,j)</em> is stored in <var>m</var>.
