- Upgraded Standards-Version to 3.1.1. (not done yet, i'm not convinced)
- Reformated Description text, that was in one single line, hard to
read.
* debian/dirs: Only etc/ is present now, as the man dir is not need,
since we are using now dh_installmanpages (see below).
* debian/docs: Removed. This file was used to install the upstream
INSTALL file, that has no useful information for the user, and
gtanshelp.txt, that should be under $HOMEDIR (this file is used for
online help, so this also fixed the problem of lack of help file when
runing the program).
* debian/gtans.6:
- Renamed from debian/gtans.6x. The "x" suffix is not really needed
and was causing dh_installmanpages to not work properly.
- Added information that help is available when running the program.
* debian/rules:
- Added several variables related to the installation directories.
- In the previous release, gtans did not start up with the right
defaults. Even worse, the defaultfigs.gtans file was not found.
The reason for this is that /etc/gtansrc was wrongly generated.
With the new scheme of variable settings, differently for
compiling and for building, associated with the new way to
generate /etc/gtansrc, those problems are fixed.
- Commented out several unnecessary dh_* commands
(dh_installexamples, dh_installcron, dh_installinfo, and dh_link).
- Launch dh_installmanpages.
* makefile:
- Reverted to the original upstream, as it is desirable to keep the
Debian diffs to the strict minimum.
- The settings of the variables is done now directly from
debian/rules.
- The -g flag has been removed from CLFG.
- gtanshelp.txt is correctly installed.
* main.h: Removed "DESTDIR" from "#define DEFAULTCONFIGFILE".
