<p>
<code class="classname">Gtk::CheckButton</code> inherits directly from
<code class="classname">Gtk::Widget</code>. It is similar to <code class="classname">Gtk::ToggleButton</code>.
The only real difference between the two is <code class="classname">Gtk::CheckButton</code>'s
appearance. You can check and set a check button using the same
member methods as for <code class="classname">Gtk::ToggleButton</code>.
