Celeste has been trained using Support vector machine techniques to identify clouds in photos and remove control points from these areas. celeste_standalone is a command-line tool with all the same functionality as Celeste in hugin.
.PP
Simple usage is to just 'clean' an existing project file:
.PP
.Vb 1
\& celeste_standalone -i project.pto -o project.pto
.Ve
.SH "OPTIONS"
.IX Header "OPTIONS"
.IP "\fB\-i\fR <filename>" 4
.IX Item "-i <filename>"
Input Hugin \s-1PTO\s0 file. Control points over \s-1SVM\s0 threshold will be removed before
being written to the output file. If \-m is set to 1, images in the file will be
also be masked.
.IP "\fB\-o\fR <filename>" 4
.IX Item "-o <filename>"
Output Hugin \s-1PTO\s0 file. Default: '<filename>_celeste.pto'
.IP "\fB\-d\fR <filename>" 4
.IX Item "-d <filename>"
\&\s-1SVM\s0 model file. Default: 'data/celeste.model'
.IP "\fB\-s\fR <int>" 4
.IX Item "-s <int>"
Maximum dimension for re-sized image prior to processing. A higher value will
increase the resolution of the mask but is significantly slower. Default: 800
.IP "\fB\-t\fR <float>" 4
.IX Item "-t <float>"
\&\s-1SVM\s0 threshold. Raise this value to remove fewer control points, lower it to
remove more. Range 0 to 1. Default: 0.5
.IP "\fB\-m\fR <1|0>" 4
.IX Item "-m <1|0>"
Create masks when processing Hugin \s-1PTO\s0 file. Default: 0
.IP "\fB\-f\fR <string>" 4
.IX Item "-f <string>"
Mask file format. Options are \s-1PNG\s0, \s-1JPEG\s0, \s-1BMP\s0, \s-1GIF\s0 and \s-1TIFF\s0. Default: \s-1PNG\s0
.IP "\fB\-r\fR <1|0>" 4
.IX Item "-r <1|0>"
Filter radius. 0 = large (more accurate), 1 = small (higher resolution mask,
slower, less accurate). Default: 0
.IP "\fB\-h\fR" 4
.IX Item "-h"
Print usage.
