There are no significant new features or changes to the manual since
version 1.2.0, except for documentation on 1.3's new features.
This directory contains two versions of the IPTraf user's manual.
manual.txt - the plain text version; can be read with your favorite
editor or pager.
manual.html - the HTML version. This file can be viewed with any Web
browser supporting HTML 3.2. The document does not
require any particular screen resolution.
The two versions contain the same information.
The manual now contains a table of contents, which is hyperlinked in the
HTML version.
The HTML version is intended to be non-browser specific. If you have
viewing problems, please inform me at once. Include the symptom,
browser, and version.
Also in this directory are two files iptraf.8 and rvnamed.8, the manual
pages for IPTraf and rvnamed. You can copy these to your section 8 manual
directory (e.g. /usr/man/man8 or /usr/local/man/man8). These man pages
are slightly modified versions of the manual pages written by Frederic
Peters (fpeters@debian.org) for the Debian GNU/Linux 2.0 distribution.
