The IPW2100 adaptor needs some binary firmware additionally
to this driver. The firmware can be freely downloaded, follow
the instructions found here:
http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/firmware.php

The firmware is distributed in a ZIP archive. Unzip it and put
the resulting file ipw2100-XX.fw under /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware.
Make sure you download the correct version of the firmware for 
this version of the ipw2100 driver.

When the driver is loaded, the hotplug agent will load the
firmware into the adaptors memory.
