this directory contains various patches that have been sent to
the ircII project for possible inclustion. they are detailed
below, but, beware that they may or may not work, or even patch
cleanly.
check_load - a patch to allow fascist administrators to make their
users client's automatically exit if the machine load average gets
higher than a pre-defined limit. this patch is not scheduled for
inclusion in to any future ircII release.
colour - a patch to allow mIRC-like colour codes to be used. this
patch is not scheduled for inclusion into any future ircII release.
japanese_support - support for iso2202 japanese kanji characters.
this patch will probably be integrated properly in a later version.
note that you need to apply the colour patch for this to work
correctly.
random_nick - patch to allow ircII to randomly choose a nickname
when one is required "immediately". this patch will probably not
be included in future ircII.
