junkfilter for Debian
---------------------

This is a simple but effective method of removing junk email from your
life. It makes use of procmail, and contains a number of filters which can
be activated in a variety of configurable patterns. The filters, when
detecting junk mail, allows the user to set up procmail to react to the
different classes of junk (or rather suspected junk) in a user-defined way.

I use this all the time, filtering suspected junk to a folder. Although not
perfect, it does trap ALL of my junk mail, and the real mail that it
also traps is almost always classified as junk due to a misconfiguraton
at the originating site.

Look at the other readme files in /usr/share/doc/junkfilter for more
information, and the example configuration file in
/usr/share/doc/junkfilter/examples.
