\fBkbackup\fR [--ttymode] [--auto-backup config] [--auto-restore config]
.SH DESCRIPTION
\fBKBackup\fR is a backup package which provides a simple
to use and extensively configurable interface for making
backups on UNIX platforms.

If uses well established archive handlers like
.BR tar(1)
or
.BR afio(1)
to provide maximum compatibility. At the same time it extends their
abilities and provides features like encryption ( using
.BR pgp(1)
),
double buffering, compression, etc...

There comes an extensive manual with \fBKBackup\fR, please refer to
it for further information. It should be installed under /usr/doc/KBackup.

specified in the manual.

This will start \fBKBackup\fR without using the
.BR dialog(1)
program. Very useful for debugging or systems without
.BR dialog(1).

.B "\--auto-backup config
This will start \fBKBackup\fR to perform a fully automatic backup using the configuration
.BR config
without any user intervention necessary. With this option it is possible to
call \fBKBackup\fR from shell scripts or
.BRcron(8)
jobs. In fact, this is the way \fBKBackup\fR calls itself when using the scheduling menu.
