.SH DESCRIPTION
.B knocker 
is a simple and easy to use TCP security port scanner written in C using pthreads
which is able to analyze hosts and all of the different services started on
them.

host name or numeric Internet address to scan

\fB\-P\fr, \fB\-\-port\fR
port number to scan (single port scan only)

\fB\-SP\fr, \fB\-\-start-port\fR
port number to begin the scan from

\fB\-EP\fr, \fB\-\-end-port\fR
port number to end the scan at

\fB\-4\fr, \fB\-\-ipv4\fR
only IPv4 addressing (default is first address available)

\fB\-6\fr, \fB\-\-ipv6\fR
use only IPv6 addressing

uses the last scanned host as target

performs again the last port scan

If you want to specify a port range to scan:

To scan a single port:

To run this program not using colors (if your terminal does not support colors):

To run this program run in background and have the results written in a log file:
