BrowserID is also known as Mozilla Persona. It is a Single Sign On protocol similar to OpenID, but based on user email address rather than a <abbr title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</abbr>. <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Persona/FAQ?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Persona%2FFAQ#How_does_Persona_compare_to_OpenID.3F" class="urlextern" title="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Persona/FAQ?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Persona%2FFAQ#How_does_Persona_compare_to_OpenID.3F" rel="nofollow">Of course, there are other differences</a>.

In Manager, go in <code>General Parameters</code> > <code>Authentication modules</code> and choose BrowserID for authentication.
</p>
<div class="notetip">You can then choose any other module for users and password but if you want to totally delegate authentication to BrowserID, choose <a href="authnull.html" class="wikilink1" title="documentation:1.9:authnull">None</a> for users and password.

Then, go in <code>BrowserID parameters</code>:
</p>
<ul>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> <strong>Authentication level</strong>: authentication level for this module.</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> <strong>Auto login</strong>: set to 1 to use auto login. This mode is not compatible with a lot of browsers which block pop-ups.</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> <strong>Verification <abbr title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</abbr></strong>: <abbr title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</abbr> used to verifiy the BrowserID assertion. Leave blank to use Mozilla default verification <abbr title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</abbr> (<a href="https://verifier.login.persona.org/verify" class="urlextern" title="https://verifier.login.persona.org/verify" rel="nofollow">https://verifier.login.persona.org/verify</a>)</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> <strong>Site Name</strong>: Name that will be displayed in the BrowserID login window</div>
</li>
<li class="level1"><div class="li"> <strong>Site Logo</strong>: Logo that will be displayed in the BrowserID login window. You <strong>must</strong> provide a full <abbr title="Uniform Resource Identifier">URI</abbr> (for example /skins/common/lemonldap-ng_square.png) and use HTTPS on the portal</div>
