Overview
--------
ModSecurity is an open source intrusion detection and
prevention engine for web applications. It operates embedded
into the web server, acting as a powerful umbrella - shielding
web applications from attacks.

A comprehensive manual is included with the distribution. For
more information, updates, tips and tricks please see the
main web site.
Install
-------
Please see file INSTALL, or the manual.
Licence

ModSecurity is dual licenced. It is freely available under
the GNU General Public License (please see file LICENSE for
more details). Alternatively, it is available under a licence
suitable for inclusion with closed-source commercial systems.
