This library was written by Joachim Wesner and Kazushige Goto to offer
greatly Alpha-optimised functions to replace some of those in libm (which
crawls on the Alpha).  This specific set was meant for the 21164, although
21064s shouldn't see much change in execution speed if these routines are
used.  I'm unsure how much improvement 21264 and above will see.

For instructions on how to use libffm, refer to the authors' documentation
(README).
