** Freenect C Synchronous Interface **

Provides a synchronous interface (e.g., freenect_get_depth and freenect_get_rgb) as opposed to callbacks.  Uses pthreads.  The Cython Syncrhonous interfaces uses these, that is the simplest way to test this.
