This is libid3 -- ID3v2 library, prepared for Linux.
The original ID3 library can be found at
http://www.id3.org/id3lib/
This version was prepared by Pawel Wiecek <coven@vmh.net>.
The following modifications were made:
- removed zlib sources (zlib is a separate library after all)
- removed windows DLL and examples (not needed)
- moved sources up, straight to archive root (better place)
- wrote a nice Makefile that builds both shared and static library
So basically this is still the real ID3 library.
