<title>Printer services manager
This is the main menu for printer services' maintenance tool.
You may create and/or edit local and remote printers,
define hosts allowed to use the printer attached to your system and manage the
printers' queues.
This configurator understands configuration made with RH's printtool
and the saved preferences will maintain this compatibility.
</abstract>
<sect>Add/Edit printers
<p>
This section configures the printers (add, edit or remove) attached
to the system. It defines the printer being local, remote, SMB or NCP
and their filters properties.
<sect>Network authorizations
<p>
If it's desired to make a printer from your system available for
other machines (by default only your machine can use your printers)
you must
explicity mention the hosts authorized to use your printer otherwise they will not
be able to print. This is a security setting and must be defined with caution.
<sect>Queue manager
<p>
This one manages the printers' queues. The queue controls the jobs (what you
send for printing) sent to the printer and stores the data until
it finally goes to the printer. You may enable/disable the queue and/or
printing, list the jobs and so on.
There's also a "panic button" which stops the printer completely and
removes the jobs (for the case of job flooding).
