Instructions for building the Debian version from CVS
-----------------------------------------------------

Check out the CVS source, and cd into it.

You can build your .deb by running:

  dpkg-buildpackage -b -rfakeroot -us -uc 

Don't run this as root.

Then you can install it by running the following as root:

  dpkg -i filename.deb

Prerequisites:
  You must have fakeroot installed.  Depending on your version of
  Debian, this may be either in a package named fakeroot or one
  named libtricks.
  You must have debhelper, dpkg-dev, and other Debian building tools
  installed.
  You must have a working C compiler installed.
