logout-button takes over the role of session manager, traditionally held by
the window manager.
Window managers can function as session manager in the sense that when they
exit, a wrapper (caller) of the window manager would assume that the session
is over.
logout-button is a button that appears on the screen, and exits when it is
pushed. The same wrapper that traditionally waited for the window manager
to exit can also wait for the logout button to exit in precisely the same way.
Because logout-button uses gtk lib and gtk lib is under the gpl, logout-button
can also be distributed under the gpl.
