<title>DESCRIPTION</title>
<para>This manual page documents the
<command>&dhpackage;</command> command.</para>
<para>This manual page was written for the &debian; distribution
because the original program does not have a manual page.
</para>
<para><command>&dhpackage;</command> is a program that outputs the
lines that appeared in the given file since the last run. To do
that, it uses an offsetfile in which it stores the last line it
found on the previous run. This makes it mainly useful for
monitoring logfiles on a spare tty from a cronjob, as it only
produces output when something changes.</para>
