<p>The <tt class="LITERAL">-Cclass</tt> information is used
placed in the control file; the default class and priority is
set by the <tt class="LITERAL">default_priority</tt> option
(default <tt class="LITERAL">A</tt>). The first letter of the
class information is uppercased and then used as the job
priority.</p>
<p>The <tt class="LITERAL">break_classname_priority_link</tt>
option causes <b class="APPLICATION">lpr</b> to place class
information in the control file but not to use it to set the
job priority. This is usually used in institutions where
users should not specify their priority. Finally, the <tt
class="LITERAL">ignore_requested_user_priority</tt> is
actually used by <b class="APPLICATION">lpd</b> to ignore the
priority requested by users.</p>
