<p>The <b class="APPLICATION">LPRng</b> Print Spooler
provides the essential printing services for UNIX and
UNIX-like operating systems. It can be configured to work
in small, large, or enterprise level environments. The <b
class="APPLICATION">ifhp</b> Print Filter is used with <b
class="APPLICATION">LPRng</b> to convert print jobs into a
format compatible with a particular printer and the while
it may briefly describe the <b class="APPLICATION">ifhp</b>
operation, Finally, the <b class=
"APPLICATION">LPRngTool</b> Graphical User Interface
provides an easy to use configuration and monitoring tool
for the <b class="APPLICATION">LPRng</b> print spooler.</p>
<p>This document is the basic reference for the <b class=
"APPLICATION">LPRng</b> print spooler software; the <b
class="APPLICATION">ifhp</b> documentation and <b class=
"APPLICATION">LPRngTool</b> should be consulted for details
about their operation.</p>
