DESCRIPTION

The `lttng version` command shows the version of LTTng-tools, the LTTng
project which provides the man:lttng(1) command and other tracing
control programs and libraries.
The output of the `version` command shows:
* The major, minor, and patch version numbers.
* The Git commit information, if available.
* The release name and its description.
* The URL of the LTTng project website.
* The license information.
