This package is maintained using a hybrid of unapplied Git packaging
with merged full upstream history. For upgrading to newer upstream
tags or snapshots, one should first merge the upstream history into
the `upstream' branch, e.g.

| $ git branch upstream && git merge vX.X.X # vX.X.X is the latest versioned tag
`----
And then switch to the `master' branch and do the usual `gbp
import-orig --uscan'. The upstream tag will be `vX.X.X' and the
Debian upstream tag will be upstream/X.X.X. The pristine-tar branch
will also be updated.
(There may be plans to migrate away from pristine-tar. This document
will be updated accordingly when that happens.)
