First Time Installation Instructions for OpenBSD
================================================

1. Install MailScanner:

    tar zxf MailScanner-install-%VERSION%.tar.gz
    cd MailScanner-install-%VERSION%
    sudo install.sh

2. In /etc/rc.conf.local (create the file if it doesn't exist), add:

	sendmail_flags="-bd -OPrivacyOptions=noetrn -ODeliveryMode=queueonly -OQueueDirectory=/var/spool/mqueue.in -OPidFile=/var/run/sendmail_in.pid"

3. In /etc/rc.local add:

	echo -n ' sendmail'; /usr/sbin/sendmail -q15 >/dev/null 2>&1
	echo -n ' MailScanner'; /opt/MailScanner/bin/check_mailscanner >/dev/null 2>&1

4. Add link to sed so change to SystemsDefs.pm isn't required:

	sudo ln -s /usr/bin/sed /bin/sed

5. Edit /opt/MailScanner/etc/MailScanner.conf:

	Sendmail = /usr/sbin/sendmail
	Sendmail2 = /usr/sbin/sendmail
	# Make other changes as appropriate

6. Start MailScanner:

	sudo /opt/MailScanner/bin/check_mailscanner

7. Add cron jobs as recommended by install.sh:

    sudo crontab -e

Upgrade Instructions for OpenBSD
================================

1. Install New MailScanner Version

    sudo tar zxf MailScanner-install-%NEW_VERSION%.tar.gz
    cd MailScanner-install-%NEW_VERSION%
    sudo install.sh

2. Update MailScanner.conf:

	cd /opt/MailScanner-%NEW_VERSION%/etc
	mv MailScanner.conf MailScanner.conf.default
	../bin/upgrade_MailScanner_conf /opt/MailScanner/etc/MailScanner.conf MailScanner.conf.default > MailScanner.conf

    cd reports/%LANGUAGE%
    mv languages.conf languages.conf.default
    ../../../bin/upgrade_languages_conf /opt/MailScanner/etc/reports/%LANGUAGE%/languages.conf languages.conf.default > languages.conf

    # Copy any other configuration files (e.g. filename.rules.conf, rules/*, reports/%LANGUAGE%/*)

3. Kill old version and start new version:

	sudo pkill -f MailScanner
	sudo ln -fhs /opt/MailScanner-%NEW_VERSION% /opt/MailScanner
	sudo /opt/MailScanner/bin/check_mailscanner

4. If problems occur after upgrading, rollback to previous working version:

	sudo pkill -f MailScanner
	sudo ln -fhs /opt/MailScanner-%OLD_VERSION% /opt/MailScanner
	sudo /opt/MailScanner/bin/check_mailscanner
