This directory contains an addition to "kdrill"
(available from ftp.x.org, in /contrib/games) .
kdrill normally uses "kanjidic", a dictionary of kanji.
However, if you wish to drill yourself on the pronunciation of kana, you
may substitute one of the dictionaries this directory can generate for
you.
Provided are "hira.dic", and "kata.dic".
You may call kdrill with one of them as a substitute dictionary.
You may also merge them both together. For example,
% cat hira.dic kata.dic >kana.dic
% kdrill -dictfile kana.dic
[note: if you have a usefile present, be sure to call kdrill with
kdrill -nousefile -dictfile kana.dic]
DISCLAIMER:
I do not guarantee the dictionaries to be %100 accurate. I'm only a
beginner myself.
If you want to make your own libraries with kdrill (for example, using
the greek or cyrillic in the kanji24 font), you can make your own
dictionaries using the "makedic" program provided.
Look at the "infile"'s for samples of input.
