\fBtime\fP() gibt die Zeit als Anzahl der Sekunden seit dem Beginn der Unixzeit
am 1.1.1970, 00:00:00 +0000 (UTC) an.

Falls \fIt\fP nicht NULL ist, wird der Rückgabewert auch im Speicher an der
Stelle abgelegt, auf die \fIt\fP zeigt.

Bei Erfolg wird die Zeit seit Beginn der Unixzeit in Sekunden
zurückgegeben. Tritt ein Fehler auf, wird \fI((time_t)\ \-1)\fP zurückgegeben
und \fIerrno\fP entsprechend gesetzt.

.SH ANMERKUNGEN
POSIX.1 definiert die \fISekunden seit Anfang der Unixzeit\fP als Wert, der als
Anzahl der Sekunden zwischen einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt und dem Anfang der
»Unixzeit« interpretiert wird. Die Umrechnungsformel von UTC ist ungenau,
weil Sie Schaltsekunden ignoriert und alle durch vier teilbaren Jahre als
Schaltjahre betrachtet. Wegen der ungenauen Formel und der nicht geforderten
Synchronisation der Uhren mit einer vorgegebenen Referenz entspricht der so
berechnete Wert nicht dem tatsächlichen. Das Ziel dieser Festlegung ist eine
konsistente Interpretation des Sekundenwertes seit Anfang der
»Unixzeit«. Siehe auch POSIX.1 Anhang B 2.2.2, für weitere Erläuterungen.
