.SH BESCHREIBUNG
Die Funktion \fBon_exit\fP() registriert die angegebene Funktion \fIfunction\fP,
damit diese bei normaler Prozessbeendigung aufgerufen wird. Also durch
\fBexit\fP(3) oder nach Verlassen der \fImain\fP\-Funktion des Programms. Der
Funktion \fIfunction\fP wird das Argument \fIstatus\fP des letzten Aufrufes von
\fBexit\fP(3) und das Argument \fIarg\fP von \fBon_exit\fP() übergeben.
Die gleiche Funktion kann mehrfach registriert werden: sie wird einmal für
jede Registrierung aufgerufen.
Wenn mittels \fBfork\fP(2) ein Kind\-Prozess erzeugt wird, erbt er Kopien der
Registrierungen seiner Eltern. Nach einem erfolgreichen Aufruf einer der
\fBexec\fP(3)\-Funktionen werden alle Registrierungen entfernt.

Die Funktion \fBon_exit\fP() gibt im Erfolgsfall 0 zurück, anderenfalls ist der
Rückgabewert ungleich 0.

Diese Funktion stammt aus SunOS 4, ist aber auch in libc4, libc5 und glibc
vorhanden. Sie tritt nicht mehr in Solaris (SunOS 5) auf. Meiden Sie diese
Funktion und verwenden Sie stattdessen die Standardfunktion \fBatexit\fP(3).
