.fi
.ft
.HP \w'int\ sd_bus_message_rewind('u
.BI "int sd_bus_message_rewind(sd_bus_message\ *" "m" ", int\ " "complete" ");"
.SH "DESCRIPTION"
.PP
\fBsd_bus_message_rewind()\fR
moves the "read pointer" in the message
\fIm\fR
to either the begining of the message (if
\fIcomplete\fR
is true) or to the beginning of the currently open container\&. If no container is open,
\fIcomplete\fR
has no effect\&.
.SH "RETURN VALUE"
.PP
On success, this function returns 0 or a positive integer\&. The value is zero if the current container or whole message in case no container is open is empty, and positive otherwise\&. On failure, it returns a negative errno\-style error code\&.
.SH "NOTES"
.PP
These APIs are implemented as a shared library, which can be compiled and linked to with the
\fBlibsystemd\fR\ \&\fBpkg-config\fR(1)
file\&.
.SH "ERRORS"
.PP
Returned errors may indicate the following problems:
.PP
\fB\-EINVAL\fR
.RS 4
The
\fIm\fR
parameter is
\fBNULL\fR\&.
.RE
.PP
\fB\-EPERM\fR

has not been sealed\&.
