La funcion
.B lseek
reposiciona el puntero del descriptor de fichero
.I fildes
con el argumento
.I offset
de acuerdo con la directiva
.IR whence .
El argumento
.I fildes
debe ser un descriptor de fichero abierto.

reposiciona el puntero del fichero
.I fildes
de la manera siguiente:

es
.BR SEEK_SET ,
el puntero es colocado a
.I offset
bytes.
Si
.I whence
es
.BR SEEK_CUR ,
el numero de bytes indicado en
.I offset
se suma a la direccion actual.
Si
.I whence
es
.BR SEEK_END ,
el puntero es colocado al final del fichero mas el
.I offset
en bytes.

la funcion
.B lseek
permite colocar el puntero del fichero despues del final de fichero
. Si los datos son colocados en ese punto, las lecturas siguientes de datos
dentro de ese espacio devuelven ceros(hasta que se escriban datos dentro
de ese espacio).
Algunos dispositivos son incapaces de buscar. El valor del puntero asociado
a ese dispositivo es indefinido .

En el caso de una correcta ejecucion,

devuelve la posicion del puntero resultante medida en bytes desde el principio
del fichero. Si se produce un error, se devuelve el valor -1 y en

se coloca el tipo de error.
