.SH DESCRIPTION
\fBIoperm\fP positionne les bits de permission d'accs du processus
aux ports commenant l'adresse \fBfrom\fP tales sur \fInum\fP
octets la valeur \fBturn_on\fP.
L'utilisation de \fBioperm\fP ncessite les privilges de Super\-User.
Seuls les 0x3ff premiers ports d'entre/sortie peuvent tre indiques de
cette manire. Pour d'autres ports, il faut utiliser la fonction
.BR iopl .
Les permission ne sont pas hrites par le processus fils durant un fork,
par contre elles le sont lors d'un exec.
Ceci permet de donner des autorisations d'accs des tches non-privilgies.

renvoie 0 s'il russit, ou \-1 s'il choue, auquel cas

contient le code d'erreur.

\fBioperm\fP est spcifique a Linux et ne doit pas tre utilis dans
des programmes conus pour tre portables.

Libc5 considre qu'il s'agit d'un appel-systme et fournit le prototype
dans
.IR <unistd.h> .
Glibc1 n'offre pas de prototype. Glibc2 fournit un prototype la fois dans
.I <sys/io.h>
et dans
.IR <sys/perm.h> .
Evitez ce dernier, il n'est disponible que sur les i386.
