.SH DESCRIPTION
Cette famille de fonctions est utilise pour des entres/sorties de
bas niveau.
Elles ont principalement t conues pour un usage interne au noyau,
mais sont quand mme utilisables avec des processus utilisateurs,
condition de suivre les instructions suivantes

des informations fournies par la page de manuel

Compiler le programme avec les options \fB\-O\fP or \fB\-O2\fP ou
quivalent. Ces fonctions sont en ralite des macros dveloppes
en ligne, et ne seront pas substitues sans valider l'optimisation.
Ceci causerait des erreurs de rfrences non rsolues au moment de
l'dition des liens.

Utiliser
.I ioperm(2)
ou ventuellement
.I iopl(2)
pour demander au noyau d'autoriser l'application accder aux
ports d'entres/sorties en question. Une omission de cette etape
dclencherait une faute de segmentation.

sont dans l'ordre inverse de la plupart des implmentations
